As mentioned, Whitchurch Models is located in North Shropshire mid way between Chester and Shrewsbury.
Within one hours drive of our shop we have fifteen model flying clubs nearly all of which are affiliated to the British Model Flying Association. www.bmfa.org
As enthusiasts ourselves we try to visit most clubs in our area during the year and reward their loyalty with a discount on all their purchases, this policy applies to all BMFA members and will be deducted at the time of purchase.
We opened for business in November 1999 and owners Martin and Susan Simmonds decided from the very beginning that their shop must be a welcoming and friendly place where modellers could make their purchases in a well stocked shop and where the information provided at the time of purchase matched the quality of the products stocked.
We stock all the items a model maker should require from the smallest piece of balsa wood to a next project kit.
The premises we now occupy were designed and built for us in 2004 and to the best of our knowledge are the United Kingdoms only custom built model shop.
